Program Information

Overview

We accept children between the ages of 2 – 6 years of age. We offer both 3 and 5 day programs in half day and full day sessions. We also provide childcare before and after school. Our students also participate in our exciting summer program which includes cooking classes, drama, art, music and botany.

Curriculum

Highland Montessori provides a well rounded curriculum of practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, science, geography, music, movement, art, computers and Spanish. The children also participate in a weekly music class taught by our music teacher, Elizabeth Hannan.

Enrollment

A child may enroll at any time during the year provided space is available. We provide full, half and extended classes. The school operates year around with summer school in July and August.

Highland Montessori accepts students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, programs and activities generally available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school administered programs.

Registration

Parents may make an appointment to observe on any Wednesday morning and registration will be given at that time.
