Summer Program Information
Overview
Our exciting Summer Program has great activities for children including cooking school, drama workshop and art program.
Our camp is divided into three- 2 week sessions. We welcome children ages 2-8!
Session I - Little Chefs
In our first session we will be learning the ins and outs of the kitchen. The children will learn basic techniques such as food preparation, chopping, and clean up. We will be exploring food from different regions of the world, as well as their cultures.
Session II - Community Helpers
Our second session will focus on the students and their involvement in the community. During these two weeks we will have visits from the San Mateo Fire and Police Departments, as well as from the Peninsula Humane Society. The children will learn emergency preparedness, safety, and many other things. The dates of these visits are to be determined.
Session III - Summer Theatre
Join us for our last summer session for the production of “The Little Red Hen”! Students will participate in set production, costume design, and acting! This has become a Highland Montessori tradition and you will not want to miss the show!
Our summer sessions are composed three, 2-week sessions. Our summer tuition prices are as follows (per session):
Summer Tuition and Fees:
Full Day: M – F $600 8:30 – 3:30
Full Day: (3) Days $550 8:30 – 3:30
Half Day: M – F $500 8:30 - 12:30
Half Day: (3) Days $450 8:30 – 12:30
